The AOL On Network is a new video platform that offers premium content across 14 content channels including food, business, entertainment, style, tech, travel, health and others, and reaches nearly 73 million U.S. consumers. The AOL On Network features original shows as well as partner content from a library of over 500,000 high quality, short-form videos created by more than 1,000 premier publishers. Through AOL On, this content is available across hundreds of premium destination sites as well as AOL’s owned and operated properties.

The AOL On Network is looking for an intern to support various B2B marketing initiatives in a fast pace environment. The ideal candidate should have a desire to pursue a career in marketing in the digital space a passion to learn about the different elements that make up an aggressive B2B marketing strategy. Candidate will experience hands on involvement in an overarching brand strategy and will contribute to the execution of both online and off-line initiatives. The Intern will report directly to VP of Marketing for AOL On and will work hand-in-hand with the Video Marketing lead.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

•Creating and updating best-in-class marketing collateral, including creating insights from raw data

•Writing for marketing initiatives including both internal & external facing pieces

•Researching industry publications and gathering information to support business objectives

•Assist with development and execution of sponsorships and speaking engagements for AOL On leadership at video industry events

•Logistical Support and execution of various marketing projects

Requirements for success:

•Candidate must be a Junior or Senior at a four year accredited university, with significant career aspirations in online marketing

•Candidate must be able to contribute two or three days a week

•Candidate must have prior internship experience in a marketing function (digital experience or experience at a publisher/agency preferred, but not required)

•Candidate should be a hardworking, self starter, able to multitask, who is organized and exhibits phenomenal attention to detail

•Candidate must be BOTH an excellent communicator (written and verbal) and have solid analytical/math skills

•Candidate must have excellent Power Point skills and spatial knowledge and will be required to demonstrate strong creative and esthetic abilities

•Candidate must be independent and be able to work with both an array of individuals and independently
