The Senior Analyst will be responsible for leading and implementing projects within the Inventory, Planning & Replenishment (IPR) organization which is part of the Supply Chain portfolio. Key initiatives will include defining processes, requirements and system enhancements to maintain visibility of freight status throughout the ordering/shipping lifecycle, including development of improved procedures and tools to track high priority freight during emergency situations (e.g. hurricanes). The Sr Analyst will be responsible for leading cross-functional work sessions to define process and system requirements, including development of formalized process flows and functional design documentation. They will serve as the principle driver for their projects and be responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization to drive alignment and implement proposed solutions. Additionally, they will be responsible for performing data analysis to measure the performance of their projects and provide data driven insights and recommendations. To be successful in this role, the Sr Analyst must be able to manage multiple priorities against aggressive schedules, possess strong communication/partnering skills, and be able drive consensus across the organization.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Leads multiple cross-functional workstreams to drive business process and system improvements across the IPR/Supply Chain organization, ensuring delivery of goals within required timeframes.
Drives the process definition and system requirements gathering for assigned workstreams, including facilitation of cross-functional work sessions and delivery of formalized Business Requirement Specifications documentation.
Partners with IT to manage delivery of required system enhancements, including leading functional design, user acceptance testing, implementation and training activities.
Defines alternative solutions to address business needs within designated timeframes, including assessment of pros/cons and recommendations.
Drives alignment across the leadership team, cross-functional stakeholders, and customers to ensure all projects address defined business needs. Develops formalized presentations to communicate ideas and drive consensus.
Implements formalized project management and tracking for all projects, including development of project plans, timelines, status reporting and risk assessments.
Establishes and reports on metrics for assigned workstreams to ensure delivery of projected business value (ROI). Evaluates and audits projects for continuous improvement opportunities.
Prepares ad-hoc data analysis and reporting to address business issues.

Typically reports to a Manager/Sr Manager Inventory Solutions
No associates report to this role on a permanent basis. However, role will require leadership of workstreams and coordination of cross-functional partners.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

5+ years business experience
MBA and/or management consulting experience
Previous supply chain/inventory management experience
Previous experience facilitating business improvement and system development projects
Data mining and analysis skills (MsAccess, SQL, etc.)

Proficient in business process evaluation. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of tasks and methodologies required to deconstruct complex business processes and outline changes/improvements to meet business needs.
Possesses understanding of system development methodologies with experience developing functional requirements/designs for system enhancements.
Strong communication and partnering skills. Demonstrates ability to clearly articulate thoughts across varying audiences and drive consensus.
Good project planning/management skills. Effectively plans work and manages against plan to meet deadlines.
Strong ability to multitask and handle competing priorities at once.
Proficiency with MS Office PC tools, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, and Visio. Experience with MSAccess preferred but not required.
