The Sr. Business Analyst, Medicare Part D Systems Support is responsible for leading, planning and analysis of complex business procedures and projects pertaining to the Medicare Part D Enrollment and Billing workflows. Has primary responsibilities for all aspects of projects related to supporting Part D Operations business systems, and is familiar with a variety of Part D Operations concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience/technical depth and system knowledge and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Sr. Business Systems Analyst is expected to be subject matter expert on all assigned projects. Sr. Business Systems Analyst must be able to effectively lead projects across a broad spectrum of Part D operations and is responsible for the timeliness of project completion. Must be able to work cross -functionally with various operational units and with IT partners to quickly resolve issues. The Sr. Analyst will need to ensure that issues identified are properly corrected and minimize impact to operational business. This position will require a high level of decision making relative to projects. Sr. Analyst is expected to mentor and develop other team members and to assist in developing team priorities by managing key performance indicators across multiple work streams.

1.Troubleshoot systems related issues regarding the functioning of core Part D Operations systems; Analyze to determine if coding issue and the level of effort required to correct it.
2.Consults with business unit management and staff to identify and document business needs and objectives; document current operational procedures. Ensures that adherence to all CMS/regulatory guidelines are met.
3.Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures. Responsible for leading assigned projects.
4.Leads in the creation and execution of acceptance test plans
5.Analyze and report weekly reconciliation data from the internal/external reports
6.Monitors and documents post-implementation problems and revision requests.

•6+ years of relevant work experience.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Demonstrate an understanding of the relationships between various applications and systems.
•Demonstrate knowledge of the relationships between various healthcare operational areas.
•Develop creative solutions to problems. Demonstrate the ability to seek alternatives, new ideas, and/or approaches to problems.
•Motivate others and provide innovative solutions for team improvement.
•Demonstrate advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite 2003 or 2007
•Healthcare experience a must.

•Facets, Fazal, experience a plus.
•SQL Proficiency is a plus

Bachelor's degree required. If no degree, two additional years of experience are required for each year of college not completed.
