We are seeking a Senior Business Manager for AT&T’s Consumer Digital Experience’s Privacy team. As the Senior Business Manager, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects focused on privacy. You plan requirements with internal clients and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This role requires a special combination of privacy expertise, technical experience, organizational skills, and the ability to influence. Part of this role will also be to help iterate and improve privacy processes and infrastructure.

The Senior Business Manager will partner with multiple business units within the Consumer Digital Experience team and across the enterprise, including Legal, Corporate Compliance, Public Policy and External Affairs. The candidate’s experience in privacy, audit and compliance processes will be integral for ushering projects through design, development and launch phases. The candidate will drive our privacy strategy bridging CDE’s applications and services with privacy requirements. You should be passionate about privacy, trust, safety and security.

  • Manage the AT&T’s CDE privacy projects and activities
  • Facilitate privacy discussions between different functions at AT&T-CDE including Sales, Services, Operations, and outside CDE i.e. Legal, Corporate Compliance, Public Policy, Marketing and Home Solutions
  • Help identify privacy requirements and develop solutions to protect user privacy
  • Lead internal process improvement projects, including the development and implementation of internal tools
  • Manage all consumer legal content updates
  • Lead Privacy Impact Analysis creation and reviews for CDE business units
  • Assist in building out marketing preferences and compliance Do-Not’s such as do-not-contact and CAN-SPAM opt outs to non-compliant practices
  • Conduct refresher training sessions and workshops on complying with laws like the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the CAN Spam Act
  • Create and manage consumer privacy education campaigns

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years program management experience in a fast paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and adapt strategies to changing or conflicting requirements

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong background in planning, implementing and managing change
  • Experience in leading cross-functional efforts
  • Strong Interpersonal and Leadership Skills
  • Experience in providing presentations to Senior Management
  • Must understand and have experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Desired Qualifications:
  • Project Management
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS or related technical field
