The Sr. Clinical Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in the education of hospital nursing staff, ongoing support and oversight of our Pyxis Dispensing systems and is the primary customer contact for the life of the system. This position acts as a dedicated liaison between CareFusion and healthcare system acting as a "Success Manager"; responsible for managing projects, key point indicators, engaging healthcare executives, leaders, and consultants; recommends "best practices" and aids in their implementation.
This full-time onsite position with all CareFusion benefits will be a one- to two-year, assignment, dedicated to a specified health system in Houston, TX. The Sr. Clinical Operations Analyst will have an opportunity to seek continued employment within CareFusion at the conclusion of the assignment.
The ideal candidate will have Pyxis Medication Dispensing utilization and/or hands-on troubleshooting and training experience. Accountabilities include:
Train nursing staff on efficiency, cost saving, safety and process improvement
Continually evaluate/monitor customer's satisfaction with systems.
Provide weekly updates in writing to the customer and Pyxis management.
Produce reports for each hospital to track pre and post metrics for standardizing automation processes.
Provide the customer with documentation on best practices.
Identify problems and coordinate tasks and field and customer resources to ensure appropriate planning and resolution.
Coordinate any necessary enhancement/upgrades.
Coordinate Field/Technical Support resources to assist in interface "go-lives" or conversions.
Act as a liaison between Hardware/ Software Engineers and Field Support.
Escalate product bugs, malfunctions, and design issues to engineering for resolution, while maintaining customer responsibility.
Participation in weekly staff meetings.
Job Family Summary
Clinical Operations is responsible for supporting the timely and quality sale, installation and monitoring of CareFusion products and services; may also provide product and service education to facilitate technology adoption and workflow change management.

Demonstrates working knowledge of relevant clinical operations, products and services
Participates in clinical pre-sales support, assessment and evaluation of new products and services
Participates in the post-sales assessment, design, implementation and monitoring of new products and services under direct supervision
Participates in customer training and consultation
Provides basic support in driving customer acceptance and utilization of new products and services
RN / LVN preferred or other applicable clinical experience
Nursing education and/or nursing consulting experience preferred.
Pyxis Dispensing experience required
Knowledge of hospital/pharmacy/nursing workflow required.
Hospital pharmacy management/automation, hospital administration, and/or information systems experience a plus.
Presentation, planning and organizational skills.
Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing software, and project management software.
Ability to write reports; clinical reporting skills preferred.
Upon hire, must provide proof of, and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional immunizations appropriate for the facility which enables access to customer sites in order to perform essential job functions. Proofs must include: Hepatitis B, Influenza (current year), MMR (mumps, measles, rubella), Varicella (chicken pox) Annual TB/PPD (skin test), Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis.
