Pyxis® medication technologies combine proven technology with actionable intelligence to prevent medication errors, help free up caregiver time to focus on patient care, increase the predictability of medication availability, and reduce inefficiencies in the med use process. At almost every point in the med use process, safety and efficiency can be increased with the comprehensive capabilities of the Pyxis® medication management system.
This is a home-based position with regional travel in the Southeast territory. The ideal candidate will live near a major airport in Florida or Georgia.
This position is responsible for primarily supporting the sale, but also the installation and monitoring, of CareFusion products and services.
May also provide consulting guidance to facilitate technology adoption and workflow change management.
Serves as lead clinical sales consultant and resource to the Pyxis Medication Dispensing Sales organization, as well as other numerous internal and external customers.
Makes recommendations that will result in the best practice use of Pyxis Med Dispensing automation products
Identifies and communicates opportunities for product improvement using direct customer feedback.

Professional Nurse License, Bachelor's (BA or BS required) Advanced degree preferred
6-8 years of experience in related field
At least 4 years of hospital departmental management and/or automation/IT consulting experience required
Some experience having used Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets required
75-80% overnight travel is required
Upon hire, must provide proof of, and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional immunizations appropriate for the facility which enables access to customer sites in order to perform essential job functions. Proofs must include: Hepatitis B, Influenza (current year), MMR (mumps, measles, rubella), Varicella (chicken pox) Annual TB/PPD (skin test), Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis
