Conducts internal investigations relative to formal complaints of discrimination, sexual harassment, harassment, hostile work environment, etc.
Coordinates recruitment a nd selection for a ll exempt a nd non-exempt positions; sources a nd interviews candidates a nd coaches managers on interviewing skills a nd techniques; verifies references a nd prepares offer letters. Completes pre-employment testing, background checks a nd a pplicant tracking.
Conducts new employee orientation to include benefits, payroll/timesheet a nd handbook/policies.
A ssists employees, supervisors, a nd managers in various employee relations issues by a ssessing a nd evaluating the issue, soliciting a ny necessary resources or experts a nd then a ssisting management in resolving the issue a t hand.
Facilitates resolution of conflicts between employees; coaches managers on effective people management; a nd maintains open communications with employees a nd management.
Coordinates the performance review process; a ssists managers with goal setting, performance management, documentation, a nd merit increase recommendations
Manages the exit process (collects property, submits final paperwork, conducts exit interview)
Coordinates FMLA/ Leave process for the project location.
Provides front line support to a ll levels of employees with questions a nd concerns relating to payroll a nd benefit issues.
A nswers employee questions regarding human resources policies, procedures, or practices.
The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following A dditional Education a nd Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
Five years experience in a human resources environment
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Lotus 1-2-3, a bility to create spreadsheets in Excel
