The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a Senior Process Developer role for our Process, Design & Management Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for process development and refinement to support new product/service delivery, as well as standardization and processes impacting operational support systems. This includes existing and future process development and implementation for process improvements. Time Warner is a dynamic company with ever-changing products, service levels, and network architectures.

The Senior Process Developer will be accountable for process lifecycles including Process Design/Development, Process Implementation, Process Quality/Compliance, and Process Optimization. Leads standardization efforts for operational support systems (i.e., BMC Remedy), Change and Incident Management, Configuration Management (CMS), and related tools/functions. This individual will also support and lead User Groups, and their respective Audit and Compliance activities across TWC organizations.

Responsible to design and develop detailed business, operational and technical process documentation. Documents range from moderate to high complexity and may include process flows, statistical analysis, methods and procedures, diagrams, training materials, job aids, online content, etc. Work with various business owners, SMEs, and work groups to identify, analyze, and design improvements for specific process problem areas. Serve as communications liaison between all relevant parties, coordinating diverse requirements and expectations for assigned work function.

Senior Process Developer will work closely with Network Operations and Planning (NOP) Program Management Office, OSS organizations, Service Transition and Regional teams to create/update process delivery packages related to new service deliveries and enhancements.

Work closely with Operations staff to ensure successful implementation of process evaluation and continual improvement programs. This may include training development and/or delivery. Define process metrics and develop compliance reporting processes and initiatives. Proactively identify the impact of potential process changes, integrate new initiatives with existing processes, and ensure that all processes are consistent and fit together. Travel to TWC sites as needed to support process development and implementation. Produce materials that are clear, concise, accurate, and in accordance with existing writing, editing, graphics, and production standards.

Job Requirements:
Successful candidate will have at least 7 years professional experience, including at least 5 years of experience in process development, quality planning, continual improvement, business analysis, or technical writing/training. Candidate must have at least 5 years experience in one of these industries: CATV/MSO, telecommunications, or broadband data/ISP.

In addition, the candidate must be a self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervision; have excellent written and verbal communications skills; have excellent interpersonal skills; be able and willing to interact extensively with coworkers at all levels across all groups within the company; be a flexible team player; have superb attention to detail and a devotion to quality; have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; be highly organized, analytical, and logical; have an exemplary customer-oriented attitude; and have excellent problem-solving skills. The candidate must also have demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Word and Visio and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.

Successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of ITIL service management concepts (Change, Incident, Problem and Configuration) and experience in the analysis of data in support of quality initiatives, preferably in a carrier operations environment. This includes ITIL standards and hands on experience with Remedy applications. Excellent documentation and process development skills are required. Strong project management skills are required. Must be able to work closely both in teams and independently, and excel at creating relationships with people in all levels of the organization. Excellent written and oral communication skills are an absolute must. Training experience is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with the following: industry-standard quality/process management models such as ITIL, eTOM, ISO 9000, TQM, Six Sigma, etc., or process/system engineering modeling languages such as UML, SysML, BPMN, etc.
  • 3+ years previous technical and/or project management experience
  • 5+ years previous Quality/Process Improvement experience in a major MSO or Telecom provider
  • ITIL/ITSM framework knowledge and advanced certifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
No Supervisory responsibilities with this position.
