41715 - Sr Electronic Engineering Technician - Clearwater FL 3376401/14/2013 to 07/20/20132nd and 3rd ShiftWe are looking for an experienced professional with a solid background in performing system level electronic test.Must be detail oriented and carefully follow lengthy test procedures.Knowledge on Visual Basic, DOS and MathCAD will be helpful as these three programs are used for scripting language and data processing.Basic Qualifications: 5 years electronic technician experience with an Associate of Science in Electronics or Technical diplomaUS citizen or Permanent Resident, ability to gain security clearanceAbility to lift at 30lbs on a regular basis without assistanceAdditional QualificationsStrong technical background and proficient in the use of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, 1553 Bus analyzers, Dewetron power monitors and UPS essential.Knowledge on Visual Basic, DOS and MathCAD will be helpful as these three programs are used for scripting language and data processing.Must be detail oriented and carefully follow lengthy test procedures.Good oral and written communication skillsCapable of generating clear and precise technical documentationAbility to get engaged in fault isolation and failure analysis to troubleshoot & resolve technical problems.Capable of self correcting problems and working independently with minimal work directionHave the ability to multi-task work assignments.Ability to work in a team environmentHighly motivatedWorks well in a dynamic and changing environment. .Supports electrical testing, environmental testing, troubleshooting, and fault isolation of Guidance & Navigation hardware, software and test equipment.Responsibilities include support of Qualification testing, formal acceptance testing, and troubleshooting/fault isolation of program hardware, both at the box or system level and card level as well.Generate test support documentation such as data book entries, test procedures and Event Record items.SHIFT DETAILS
Regular weekend work will be a requirement. Exapmle of shift schedules: 2nd shift, generally 3:30 - 12 midnight, regularly working weekends.General schedule below: 1) expect 6-12 weeks of training on a M-F, 1st shift 8-5pm schedule with some weekend work Sat or Sun.2) then converting to 2nd shift schedule 3:30-12, M-F with increasing weekend work Sat and/or Sunday.3) then remaining on 2nd shift converting to a regular weekend type schedule Wed-Sun or Thurs-Mon
