Responsible for supporting Human Resources / Payroll to ensure timely and accurate processing. Maintain and enforce current payroll practices and policies. Strong knowledge to maintain the integrity of the SAP HR/Payroll system, time management, as well as maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. Expert working knowledge of payroll audit processes and all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws. Ability to audit the accurate and timely pay data processing for a large number of employees in a multi-state, multi-entity and multi-pay frequency environment.
  • Support SAP HR system with regard to all employee pay related data and deductions
  • Ability to respond to questions and special requests from employees and other client groups
  • Ability to analyze time management data and apply state and federal guidelines
  • Perform data integrity audits to ensure compliance with federal, state and local legal regulations
  • Ability to recognize potential problems areas and develop alternatives for resolutions
  • Assist with and maintain documentation and procedures for SAP HR, Time Management and payroll data entry
  • Participates in SOX Internal/External audits and special projects as needed
  • Support internal and external audit reporting needs for HR or payroll data
  • Support legally mandated reporting requirements
  • Assures confidentiality and quality of distributed materials
  • Supports manufacturing sites regarding data entry & runs various reports as needed
  • Supports training SAP HR as required
Required Skills
  • Strong knowledge of SAP HR master data, payroll/wage type related entries
  • Strong understanding of payroll processing
  • Strong desire to provide outstanding customer service with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
  • Manage multiple tasks, set priorities, solve problems, make decisions and follow-through
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills - oral, written and listening
  • Ability to handle strict deadlines
Required Experience
  • 5 years experience in corporate or multi-pay, multi-entity, multi-frequency pay environment with union and non-union employees
  • SAP HR experience is a MUST
  • SAP Time Management and Organization Management is a Plus
