Aerospace headquarters and this position are based in Phoenix, Arizona.Responsibilities: Conducts and administers industrial hygiene surveys (air, noise etc…).Conducts asbestos, lead sampling, program management and maintains data base.Implements, leads, and maintains effective health, safety, and environmental (HS&E) programs for the location Product Lines and/or Functions under local management direction.Interprets safety, health regulations and develops/implements strategies to ensure compliance with Governmental regulations and the HS&E requirements of the Corporation.Provides timely and accurate submission of all necessary reports to Corporate, Federal, State, and Local agencies.Leads assessments of safety programs to identify and control significant loss producing exposures.Ensures that quality control processes are established to monitor all aspects of health and safety compliance.Leads continuous improvement efforts through the use of Six Sigma and an HS&E Management System to reduce occurrences of OSHA recordable injuries and the reduction of hazardous materials.Must keep fully informed of all existing and proposed changes in IH/safety regulations.Develops and provides basic HS&E training to employees.Basic Qualifications: For Export Compliance, candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Hygiene, safety or equivalent.4+ years experience in health and safety in a manufacturing environment.Additional Qualifications: Strong analytical problem solving and decision-making skills.Ability to communicate and implement various HS&E processes at all levels of the organization.Exceptional interpersonal skills.Ability to lead, motivate, and influence others to achieve HS&E objectives.Self-motivated.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated computer skills.Extensive knowledge in applicable safety regulations required, with experience in industrial hygiene monitoring desired.Apply online using the "Visit Website/Apply Online" link above- Enter Job #00207106As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Honeywell is committed to a diverse workforce.Interested in Honeywell but this isn’t the right job for you?
