The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is recruiting for a HR Business Partner (Sr. Human Resources Analyst). The successful candidate will work independently in a generalist capacity serving University departments on HR related issues. Provides guidance to management and employees on matters relating to policy, employment law, HR strategy, performance management, positive discipline, compensation, job classifications, and other matters related to employment. In addition, the HR Business Partner will develop and conduct staff training, to include assisting with new employee orientation, and lead or support strategic projects.
We are looking for a committed HR professional with proven HR generalist experience in building strong working relationships with departmental leaders while providing effective employee relations and HR consultation. This position requires competency in federal and state employment laws; HR practices; coaching people; managing projects; working independently; communicating effectively through oral and written communication; identifying issues; and using excellent analytical; judgment and organizational skills.
Professional HR certification (PHR/SPHR) and experience in academic setting are preferred.

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or Public Administration, or a related field.
Three (3) years of professional HR experience.
