Information Systems Security Manager
Job Description: Position is primarily responsible for the development and administration of information systems security procedures for Raytheon information systems and networks supporting the DoD. The candidate will be responsible for system compliance, auditing, security plan development, performing self-inspections, and developing and implementing information systems security education and awareness programs. The position requires interaction with government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations. Prepare documentation, including Information Systems Security Plans, outlining regulations and establishing information security policy. Investigates information system security violations and prepares reports specifying corrective actions for the current situation and preventative actions to be taken for the future.
4 years of Information Systems Security experience
Experience with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Chapter 8 requirements.
Experience with all other chapters of the NISPOM.
Experience developing IS security plans, policy, and procedures for Stand alone and Local Area Network Information Systems Experience with UNIX, WIN XP/2003/7/2008 or similar operating systems.
Ability to obtain a US Government Top Secret Clearance
Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, Criminal Justice or equivalent. Majors: Computer Information Systems.
Thorough understanding of the complete NISPOM.
Individual must have the ability to conduct IS User Briefings.
DSS self-certification authority (UNIX, WIN XP/2003/7/2008) or similar operating systems and familiarity with the ODAA Process.
Individual must have the ability to develop effective briefings and training material to be presented to all organizational levels.
Possess an existing US Government Secret Clearance.
Holds an IS certification commensurate with DOD 8570.1-M requirements (CISM, CISSP, or other)
Ability to execute tough decisions with minimal supervision in accordance with government regulations.
Ability to effectively work as part of a team. Excellent communication skills (written & oral).
Possess good time management skills
