Responsible to oversee the management of supply chain processes company wide. Responsible for training managers and end users in system functionality and functional processes, new tools development and analysis, implementation of approved applications and second level support of supply chain applications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
Provides oversight and support to Supply Chain Managers and the operational entities on the development and implementation of supply chain processes and practices.
Supervises forecasting and logistics management in day-to-day activities.
Oversees development and testing of the inventory control applications, billing systems audits and tools; Oversees development and distribution of required reports for supply chain executives.
Conducts daily/weekly/monthly reviews of inventory including compiling statistical information on usage, loss, transfer, etc., to establish and implement standards.
Manages and analyzes in material requirements and technology migration; Responsible for the design of forecasting methodologies and audits for key products; Assist in product standardization efforts
Monitors the sale/transfer/disposition of capital assets.
Project manages initiatives to refine or install supply chain management tools.
Audits vendor’s performance on invoice and shipment discrepancies utilizing reporting tools.
Audits internal warehouses against performance levels, including cycle turns, inventory accuracy, transaction processing and inventory levels for all materials including CPE; Oversees inventory discrepancy analysis to identify shrinkage, item re-identification issues, transfer errors, etc.
Participates in physical inventory exercises in the following capacities; training, counting, and auditing at Charter Communications sites.
6+ years experience with computer-based inventory control program or equivalent
5+ years experience in supply chain process or equivalent
3+ years experience in reporting/analysis tools or equivalent
1-2 years experience training in supply chain functionality or equivalent
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION & LICENSES
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related
field, or equivalent experience
