Position Summary:
While the senior executive of the regional business “owns” the Integrated Business Management process, this position will primarily support the Americas Region and facilitates the implementation of updates and continuous improvements to comply with the broader Global Integrated Business Management process vision.

The Sr. IBM Manager will oversee multiple initiatives and will need to operate at both a detailed, analytical level and a broad, strategic, general manager level. The scope and nature of the responsibilities includes the following:

Collaborate and influence the Senior Leadership roles across all functions within the region to drive alignment on key business assumptions to deliver the business Plans over the 18-24 month horizon.

When there are issues with this alignment on top-down and bottoms-up estimates, the candidate provides leadership for timely resolution to emerging issues or off-track activities.

Responsible for facilitating a recommendation within the business unit or region on specific actions to improve business performance.

Ensure there are documented, clear roles and responsibilities within the IBM process for the region in line with the Global IBM vision.

Leads the business unit to IBM maturity through internal consulting on improvement plans

Lastly, this position is accountable for the integration of activities and communication across the entire process including the Innovation Review, Demand Review, Supply Review, Integration & Reconciliation, and Management Business Review and supporting elements of the process.

Responsibilities:
Internal consultant and “Keeper of the IBM Values” - Develops IBM implementation and improvement plans in line with Global IBM strategies and drives these efforts in the organization by obtaining commitment of senior leadership and providing strong facilitation of project teams in the Americas Region. Conducts audits (may leverage third party) and continually assesses progress to identify continuous improvement opportunities. Develops written reference materials (RACI’s, roles/responsibilities, etc), instructional presentations, and guides to ensure process transcends individuals. Identifies supporting KPIs related to work area.

IBM Coordination - Coordinates the regional Integration & Reconciliation and Management Business Review pre-reads and meeting notes on a monthly basis. Monitors and highlights regional and country key initiatives that are off-track through the regional discussions. Ensures Financial Plans are aligned with IBM planning activities.

Educator - provides Hershey IBM training as well as other required instruction to individuals and teams throughout the corporation. Provides direction and support to established IBM advocates, process step owners, and country coordinators.

Project Manager - Manages IBM improvement projects that support the global process.

External Liason - Participates in internal and external conferences and benchmarking with other organizations in order to and advance The Hershey Company’s capability.

Education/Certification:
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business Logistics, Finance, Management or related field

MBA preferred

Experience:
Minimum 8-10 years experience

Prefer 3-5 years of Sales & Operations Planningor IBM/IBP coordination/management

Prefer candidate with experience in the CPG industry

Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to travel internationally up to 50%, and adapt work style to other cultures.

Experience implementing new business processes and driving organizational change.

Must be a strong facilitator for the working team and drive to issue closure.

Experience with Sales and Operations Planning activities and metrics.

Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities with little guidance, while driving to a broader vision.

Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills both written and oral. Effective at documenting notes and clear action items.

Demonstrated skills in interacting, coaching and influencing at various levels of an organization.

Executive level presence.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Proven project management expertise. Must have the ability to consult impacted parties, outline a plan, gain alignment, and be persistent for implementation.

Proven leadership abilities, including demonstration of Hershey Core Values.
