Overall Purpose: Facilitates complex technical network support program initiatives for network data standards and integrity, quality mgmt, process design, Meth/Procedures and network studs. Identifies network quality/process improvement opportunities and training needs
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Leads analysis, design, development, and documentation of network quality/process improvements. Aligns improvement to network perf shortfalls. Provides consultation on reengineering techniques to improve network process performance and product quality. Works with Six Sigma certified professionals and employs Six Sigma methodology tools to accomplish objectives. Develops network methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for results. Analyzes, tracks and publishes network perf and process/quality indicators and results by constructing reports that are geographically illustrative of network process trends and performance. Ensures network process capability, control and improvement by implementing procedures and interpreting network stds. Develops network metrics that provide data to measure for future network improvement opportunities. Collects data to identify root cause of network problems. Measures performance against network process requirements. Leads the development and implementation of network perf metrics, process control points and results mgmt. Writes/edits technical network manuals for procedures, users, programming, service, operational specs and related technical publications to communicate network technical specs and instructions. Seen as network SME. Requires Network experience and background and understanding of the Network function processes. Jobs focused on Quality/Process outside the Network org should be aligned to the Business Svcs Quality/MP/Process job keys as well as any within the Network organization that are focused on more Business Svcs quality or process design. Job Specicific Responsibilities:
Understanding of mobility network build program management and processes (e.g. NSB, UMTS, LTE)
Develops metrics that provide data to measure improvement opportunities.
Collects data to identify root cause of application/data problems
Recommends new procedures/processes to drive desired results.
Key contributor on diverse projects.
Builds productive internal/external relationships.
Collaborates with others in own team or across teams/silos.
Managing new requests via team mailbox - responding to user needs, educating users on best practices, handling special change requests, facilitate the completion of requests that do not fit the standard process, nightly data upload to system (change requests and new project uploads)
Work with the markets in a very customer facing aspect for troubleshooting any system issues.
Requires knowledge of mobility build program tools, such as CASPR/PACE Proliance, SQL Jobs, CPRT Tool and other tools used for managing program data.
Working with POE & POR impacting change requests
Communicating necessary information and hosting user meetings
Develop and perform user training.
Work on various projects ie. activity set changes, Data analysis of change request impacts, modifying schedule data, C-PRT testing, and process documentation. Research CSS data to assist the market on USID/FA status and help with any corrections.
Education: Typically a BS degree in Math, Science or Engineering preferred or equivalent related network experience. Experience: Typically at least 3- 5 years of successful network experience. Supervisory: No.
Environmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to ATT compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
