Support the Pricing team in developing, analyzing, and executing pricing strategies to maximize profitability for the Domestic Parks & Resorts line of business. Evaluate business performance drivers, key metrics, and other tools to provide analytical insights regarding the business. Partner with operations, marketing, research, and finance to communicate performance, understand new initiatives, and identify optimal strategic opportunities. Create detailed analysis using mathematical and statistical techniques to evaluate the success of initiatives and to determine continuous improvement opportunities. Translate complex analyses into actionable insight for presentation to key stakeholders. Successful candidate will have strong communication and analytical skills and a natural curiosity to understand “why” performance is favorable or unfavorable and will take a proactive role in problem solving.
Minimum 5+ years work experience in business analysis and/or strategy development
Proven proficiency in Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Demonstrated strategic and creative thinking ability
Demonstrated strong leadership and partnering skills
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to champion projects from beginning through implementation, meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision
Demonstrated strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and pride in delivering quality results and understanding the business impact
Ability to work in a team environment with a positive demeanor
Willingness to learn new software applications
Willingness to share creative and new ideas
Proven knowledge of P&R Hotels & Theme Parks
Proven knowledge of Revenue Management and Analytics
Demonstrated project management skills with ability to deliver projects on time
Experience in working with complex and large volumes of data, and database applications
Master’s degree or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Industrial Engineering, Marketing or other quantitative field
