RMT (Raytheon Multi-Program Testbed) Lead Flight Test Engineer will manage the RMT Flight Test operations at LAX, support schedules, and direct Flight Test Engineering team and several RFTO (indirect report) staff members. Responsible for leading and participating in the installation, integration and testing of the system payload equipment to ensures operational capability and availability of the RMT platform to meet program test requirements. Provides innovative solutions and improvements to the RMT capabilities. Troubleshoot technical problems, determine technical solution in accordance with product/customer specifications and technical data, and recommends proper solutions. Must be able to recommend and implement design changes to improve equipment efficiency and/or reduce cost of operation. Will need to communicate with the program management and provide schedule updates and coordination for the integration and/or testing of new hardware, software and/or database builds and support installation. Responsible for ensuring that RMT systems are ready for each flight and review all planning for each flight. Create master schedules and staffing plans for removal and re-installation of all equipment on the RMT. Lead engineering teams for RMT drawing validation and updating. Lead hardware and software teams for project design, implementation and integration. Responsible for the scheduling, planning, design, design reviews, integration, and status reporting. Must be ready to operate with minimal supervision in remote locations.

Required Skills:
10+ years of professional related working experience
• Must have aircraft system integration and test experience.
• Should have extensive flight test experience, preferable military flight training.
• Must be at an technical expert and have significant experience working with experimental aircraft.
• Active Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SAP/SAR and Com AV
Required Education (Including Major):

BS Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering
