We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Sr. Project Manager to help transform our global FP&A teams into a world-class FP&A organization. Our objective is to identify, scope, and implement projects that would efficiently and effectively build Functional Excellence - effectiveness, efficiency, agility, optimization, and integrity. Once we are successful, we will have a sustainable FP&A function, scalable for growth.
Reporting to the Director of MP FP&A Transformation, the Senior Project Manager, FP&A Transformation will partner closely with FP&A leaders across Marketplaces and eBay Inc, as well as Finance IT leaders to ensure timely and successful execution of FP&A Transformation initiatives. The role will combine project management and operational excellence.
This individual will work on high-impact, high-profile projects. This role offers the candidate a unique opportunity to build relationships with finance and systems leaders across the company.

Specifically, the Senior Project Manager will be expected to:
Maintain the overall integrity and coherence of the program, developing and maintaining the program environment to support each project, and help drive it to success. Ensure appropriately detailed workplans and roadmap are developed and maintained, identifying key milestones, tasks, priorities, dependencies and resources. Monitor and document accurate status of projects, projects within program, or external projects that have dependencies. Manage communication with internal stakeholders. Apply appropriate, recognized project management methods including stakeholder management, risk and issue management, contingency planning, scope control and project monitoring. Own the program risk and issue management process for ensuring the effective escalation, reporting and mitigation / resolution of risks and issues. Manage the selection of and working relationship with 3rd party providers that may be required to deliver a project, working with strategic sourcing and other relevant business areas. Assist in creating and implementing new processes and procedures as required by projects/programs. Lead ad-hoc, team-based problem solving sessions using Lean, Six Sigma and analytical tools. Accurately value improvement opportunities, both in terms of dollar cost and qualitative benefits. Actively seek improvements and initiate changes to PMO processes and tools.
Bachelors Degree, or equivalent 7+ years of experience, with 3+ years delivering process/tool improvements in highly complex technology environment and 3+ years of Internet, software and/or financial services experience Extensive project management experience; PM certification preferred Formal certification in OE methodology (Lean, Six Sigma) preferred Technical background/education preferred with operational/delivery experience in FP&A processes and systems Strong project management skills, including work plan development, delegation, issue resolution, coaching and facilitation Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively with senior management, business, and technical teams, and to influence across all levels of leadership Practical knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Balance Scorecard and Change management Proven ability to lead and drive major change in a matrix environment, as well as manage large projects and cross-functional teams Deep process improvement capabilities and thought leadership with a record of executing process improvement and large finance systems initiatives with significant impacts Strong focus on delivering customer-focused results PMP certification desired Six Sigma Training a plus About eBay Inc.
