Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:
Assisting supervisors with day to day tactical issues, handling escalated calls, training, coaching and other business needs.
Promotes a positive working environment and initiates suggestions to continually improve process and protocols in the licensed Pharmacy call center.
Assists supervisors with standardization of procedures, coaching, training, and dissemination of information to staff.
Acts as a subject matter expert in processes, procedures, products and State Board of Pharmacy regulations that relate to a Pharmacy call center.
Communicate clearly and accurately when interacting with all levels of employees, plan participants, physician office and partners.
Manage escalated and more advance Prior Authorization issues when needed.
Answers questions and recommends corrective action to address complaints.
Assists with inbound or outbound calls to assure that current business needs are met.
Handles special projects and assignments as designated by the supervisor and/or manager. Required Qualifications:
National Certification (CPhT) required. HS Diploma or GED required. Prior Authorization knowledge required. Preferred Qualifications:
Post High School or specialized training in pharmacy technician studies is preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience in a complex, high impact customer service role. Pharmacy technician experience required. Preferred: 2-years healthcare industry related experience (hospital, managed care, physician office, PBM etc). Superior PC skills in Windows based applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Superior soft skills. Able to work in a high-paced work environment. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to work various shifts and flex work schedule based upon business needs. Education:
