Qualified candidates will be responsible for completion and workover operations in multiple fields throughout South Texas. Maintain close communications with office and field operating personnel in order to identify opportunities, needs, or problems in assigned operating area. Monitor active projects to determine their economic status, regulatory compliance, and make recommendations for improvements. Review inactive wells for possible recompletion, testing, workovers, abandonment, and regulatory compliance. Review operations of surface and down hole equipment to insure maximum performance and minimize none productive time and operational expenses. Provide engineering support for high profile projects and activities within the Southern Division including production operations. Perform engineering and economic analysis followed by recommendations, designs, planning, AFE’s, and procedures in a timely manner. Provide budgetary planning support as required. Monitor industry activities to keep abreast of technology, competitor activities, and opportunities. Provide Engineering support to field operations, on-sight supervision of projects as required, relief to engineering staff and supervisory personnel as needed. Shall also have good communication skills (verbally and in writing) and work well in a team environment to collaborate, consult and coordinate with Land, Geological, Reservoir, Regulatory, Production and Field team members. Prepare, organize and lead annual field reviews as required to identify projects that will create value for the Company. Must be able to work with minimum supervision and be driven to produce results at both an individual and team level.

BS in Engineering
8+ years Production Engineering experience (Texas experience preferred)
Frac design experience preferred
Knowledgeable in well design, completions and workovers (high pressure and high temperature wells)
Knowledgeable in slikline, e-line, coiled tubing and service rig operations
Knowledgeable in well control (certification preferred)
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Good computer skills (Microsoft Products)
