Scientific Research Corporation, a leading Research and Development Company providing innovative solutions focused on advanced commercial technologies in the development of wireless communications, information, and sensor systems for the Department of Defense Service Sector, Government and Commercial industries, has an exciting career opportunity for a Sr. Systems Engineer located in San Antonio, TX.

Provides support to the Program Management Office, Air Force Digital Integration for Combat Engagement (AFDICE).
  • Collect and derive ISR data link communication requirements from a variety of unclassified and classified sources - specifically Common and Tactical Data Link.
  • Analyze current capabilities versus the requirements and document any capability gaps.
  • Assist in development of potential materiel and non-materiel solutions.
  • Develop documentation to support requirement validation process (Joint Capability Integration & Development System - JCIDS).
  • Coordinate requirements documentation within AFISRA and other ISR stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing cost estimates and schedules to implement solutions.
  • Create, edit, present, defend position via bullet background papers, white papers, roadmaps, charters, briefings, etc. as needed

Successful completion of a 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's degree or higher in operations research, science, or engineering; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competitive in college-level mathematics or statistics with 10 years of overall experience.
  • Or a Master?s degree with 8 years of overall experience
  • The ability to apply analytical and evaluative techniques (e.g., operations research, performance measurement, survey research) used in program evaluation.
  • Knowledge of the military test and evaluation process sufficient to develop approaches for assessing and evaluating effectiveness.
  • Skill in written communications to include synthesizing complex information.
  • Skill in oral communications to include establishing liaison with individuals throughout testing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a group environment.
  • Knowledge of various office automation software program, tools, and techniques to support the production of a variety of documents such as, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs.
  • Knowledge of agency and local computer systems security requirements.
  • Knowledge of security directives and safeguarding classified information.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Link 16 operational experience is highly desired.
