Provide technical program leadership for team of IT professionals comprised of both employee and contract staff. Create and maintain program plans. Manage program budgets. Forecast project/work costs. Develop project plans, prioritize requirements and schedule work assignments. Follow up on progress to date and manage projects/work to completion; provide appropriate resource coverage to support business need. Resolve issues as they arise. Lead/manage application development activities. Working with technical SMEs, devise and execute strategies to improve the quality of the application. Assist in development of solutions to multiple complex technical projects/initiatives. Provide input to performance appraisals.

6+ years development experience in application development (SDLC) and/or technical operations environment. Experience leading project teams including: meeting deliverable dates, leading a work team(s) and direct customer contact; Experience managing customer requirements or demands; Experience leading small to medium projects or components of large projects.

  • Leadership, facilitation, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and analytical skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Demonstrated program/project management skills.
  • IBM System i (AS/400), Synon/2, RPG experience a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required, two additional year of experience is required for each year of college not attained.
