The Senior Technical Specialist will deliver best-in-class Incident Management and Problem Management by leading/working with various teams of analysts, operations engineers, and business representatives to ensure a highly available and reliable online service. Define and directly influence Incident and Problem Management procedures and guidelines to ensure the best possible response to and resolution of production impacting events. Create, collaborate and evangelize process and planning across a large organization in order to implement efficient Incident and Problem Management. Contribute to problem analysis and continuous improvement of day-to-day operations of the 24x7 Online operating environments.
The Senior Technical Specialist is a recognized SME (Subject Matter Expert) in their respective area. As such, this individual will take a leadership role in assigned projects, in mentoring peers and other team members, in performing research/investigation to enhance the collective knowledgebase of the team and in proactively identifying issues (and resolution) to minimize impact to business operations.

BS in Computer Information Science or equivalent business experience.
ITIL v3 Foundations Certification
Prior experience in Enterprise Application Operations, at least 3 years.
