Summary of Responsibilities:
- Act as liaisons between MetLife and vendor contracted to service the company in various capacities.
- Act as the internal contact to facilitate resolution to issues and concerns related to external vendors.
- Research and request vendor proposals, negotiate vendor contracts, and develop service level agreements that meet business needs.
Under minimal supervision, responsible for overseeing complex and/or high profile relationships with external vendors
Develops and negotiates complex domestic and/or overseas vendor contracts, contract standards, and service level agreements that meet business needs.
Oversees the work of vendors across a large segment of a business organization.
Performs vendor analysis and recommends vendor selection to management.
Acts as the internal contact for receiving and resolving issues and concerns related to assigned high profile vendors
Develops and implements process improvement solutions related to vendor processes and works with operating areas to implement.
Ensures vendor service level agreements are being met and that vendor performance aligns with strategic goals and priorities.
Assesses outsourcing and offshoring opportunities and assists in the creation of the strategy and execution of outsourced/offshored work.
Requests and researches vendor proposals.
Leads and motivates project team members and provides guidance to lower level staff.
Performs other duties as assigned or required
8 - 10 years of related work experience.
Bachelor’s degree in related field or 8 - 10 years equivalent experience.
Thorough knowledge of supported business functions, systems, and transactions.
Serv Safe certification.
