Our Client located in Smryna is looking for a Developer with the technical aptitude and Good to Great Attitude to help lead the company's largest 2013 IT initiative by creating a SOA through JBoss. This is a top priority for the CIO. You will work alongside your manager to develop the POC, build framework and implement. You must be be a self-starter, outside the box thinker and a driver of technology.

Responsibilities:
Act as the integration application portfolio technical expert (application design patterns, solutions, etc)
Creation and maintenance of integration technical standards & solution requirements
Assess quality via solution/design/code peer review of both internal and vendor solutions
Develop technical roadmaps for integration portfolio (technologies, patterns, solutions)
Drive R&D and prototypes as required for the integration application portfolio
Deliver high-level design and technical approach deliverables (Analysis)
Act as the integration portfolio application operating environment expert
Champion progressive SCM practices, standards, tools
Address complex (multi-apps/cross-team/escalated) root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues
Direct maintenance of team component and architecture references (Confluence/Sharepoint)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Required
Development experience preferably with JDBC, JMS, Web Services, JBoss, Maven, EJB, XSLT, XPATH, XQuery, AOP
Working knowledge of JBoss EAP application server
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux development environments
Demonstrated advanced understanding of troubleshooting and root-cause analysis techniques
History of full lifecycle application design and solution development
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Working knowledge of waterfall and iterative SDLC (e.g. Agile, Scrum, RUP, etc)
Ability to lead by example and mentor fellow developers and architects on best practices
Works well in a dynamic (full-time, contractor, on/off shore) team environment
Quick learner with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
Display a passion and energy for the technology and role
Ability to drive others toward a common goal
Takes personal responsibility and ownership of project assignments
Desired
7+ years of software development experience
5+ years of hands-on experience with Java (J2EE) programming language
JBoss SOA suite (Rules/BRMS, ESB, BPM, Transformation)
JUnit, Smooks, Drool rules engine, GIT, GitHub
Product development experience
MBA or technical graduate technical degree
Exposure to building technology architecture processes and standards
Expertise in Business Process Management
Experience in automation solutions for IT planning (requirements, analysis, design, architecture)
