Position Title:
Sr. Accountant
KBR is looking for a Sr. Accountant for our Houston office.
Job duties will include but not be limited to the following:

Assist to research issues/questions within SAP data
·
KART Reconciliations
o
Communicate with cost center owners to get support for entries made during the month
o
Prepare account reconciliations to verify that account balances are correct
·
Reporting – Monthly/Quarterly schedules
o
Collection and consolidation of Aged A/R
o
Preparation of Corporate’s Aged A/R schedule
o
Consolidated Net Position for White Financial book – balances, YTD, QTD, & Month changes
o
Significant Items – Prepares KBR Monthly Significant & Unusual Items schedule on a monthly basis.
o
AR Lead Schedules for KPMG PBC’s

Assist
Accounting Supervisor in preparation & consolidation of monthly/quarterly schedules:
o
IS Long Schedule
o
Backlog schedules
o
Project write ups
o
MD&A Project Templates
·
Assist Sr Accounting Manager in preparation & consolidation of monthly/quarterly schedules:
o
Allocation of month-end labor for Corporate
o
Allocation of Corporate Payroll Liability account
o
Book Treasury LOC recoveries
o
Geographic Reporting
o
G&A by Function.

Qualifications
Accounting Degree (CPA preferred)
Intermediate to Advanced SAP Knowledge, and Hyperion Financial Management knowledge
Oracle Knowledge would be helpful but not required.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities
Ability to work well with others
Goal and high standard driven
Very good working knowledge of Microsoft “Excel", "Word", and "Powerpoint".
