The Gig:

Our Windows Systems group is growing. We're looking to add a Senior Active Directory Administrator to help meet the ever growing demand for new, customer impacting functionality. We're searching for those rare engineers who are driven, self-motivated and excited about technology.

The Details:
  • Analyze, design and develop solutions and support for the entire Enterprise Active Directory infrastructures including Server and data center support
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities surrounding patching, deployments, maintenance and expansion
  • Lead and train a team of IT personnel to increase overall company depth and skillset of junior team members
  • Accountability and ownership of all AD environments for corporate and enterprise needs
  • Automating AD user/group/ou creation and monitoring via power shell scripts. Power shell scripting automation experience a necessity
  • Managing multiple AD Domain Controllers over WAN links
  • Managing a mixed windows and Linux environment where hundreds of desktops/laptops and servers all need to auth against inter-office domain controllers
  • Optimizing AD replication via sites and services over multiple WAN Links
  • Automated Monitoring and Alerting of AD for health and up time for multiple services and replication
  • Securing and Locking down AD from group/ou/server perspective to network and servers ACL's to group policies and permissions

The Requirements:
  • Proven experience in implementing multiple Active Directory environments and implementing security and group policy best practices
  • Proven experience in patch and software delivery automation
  • Knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory and Google apps
  • Excellent customer service skills and customer first attitude
  • Ability to create and execute technology roadmaps
  • Ability to measure and report KPIs for service and support improvement
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices and common concerns with IT Service Management
  • Ability to work in an fast-paced, rapidly-evolving environment utilizing the Agile software development methodology or other project management methodologies
  • A plus would be someone with knowledge or prior experience as a systems admin/for ticketing systems and other business applications.
  • Proven experience providing 24 x 7 support and solutions to a global company
  • Ability to deliver secure remote solutions to all employees
  • Knowledge of Service Now, Confluence, Jira, SalesForce and Netsuite a plus
  • Workflow and technical documentation
  • Team and corporate training skills
  • Must have 5 to 7 years of AD experience in an enterprise environment including, architecting, provisioning, maintaining AD and thousands of servers
  • MCSE for 2008 or above nice to have but not a critical selling point for the job. Skillset and experience are major qualifiers
