Reporting to the Director of the Library, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support, including budget management, report preparation, office services, and special projects as needed. This position would be ideal for an experienced office manager who prefers to work part-time in a collaborative environment.

Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of experience in office administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact effectively across department line and with all levels of management is essential for success. Must have proven ability in budget preparation, monitoring, and reporting; excellent organizational, planning, prioritization and problem-solving skills, as well as office application software skills including advanced Excel features. Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently; influence others and resolve issues; and exercise judgment to handle sensitive and confidential information in a discrete and professional manner.

The successful candidate will be able to help build intercultural understanding and demonstrate multicultural perspectives that can foster a diverse and inclusive community. Candidates must have a professional and positive attitude towards their work, the mission of the institution, and the goals of the college.
