Sr. Analyst is responsible for supporting the management of corporate credit risk by providing detailed analysis of customer financial statements and credit history. Sr. Analyst is expected to make credit decisions on trade credit up to $1.5M and recommendations to senior management for larger trade credit amounts, with some accounts around $1B. Developing and maintaining good working relationships with customers and senior level sales team is crucial to resolving sensitive issues related to credit. Ability to reach workable solutions in difficult negotiation settings is also important.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze customer financials and prepare comprehensive reviews to assess credit risk profile for extension of trade credit and/or loans
Develop customer relationships to gauge management quality and resolve critical questions during financial reviews
Make credit decisions on accounts with trade credit up to $1.5M and recommendations to senior management for larger trade credit amounts with some accounts around $1B
Proactively review long-term loan and other documents for compliance with terms and covenants to identify defaults/write-offs before they occur
Provide credit function support for new business initiatives such as Plasma Biologics
Partner with credit groups in other business units to share best practices
Manage cross functional teams such as sales, finance, account managers, and accounts receivable in reconciling accounts and resolving customer issues
Structure and negotiate credit terms in pharmaceutical supply agreements to manage customer credit risk
Keep informed of changes in economic and/or market conditions that might affect credit risk and make recommendations to improve credit process/operation
Ability to handle multiple projects in various stages of completion
Perform other duties as assigned

MBA preferred, 4-year degree in finance required
5+ years of experience, healthcare/insurance/commercial banking industry experience a plus

Knowledge and ability to analyze financial statements, tax returns and cash flow
Analytical and research skills
Negotiation skills
Knowledge of accounting principles
Excellent written and verbal communication
Excellent organizational and presentation skills
Thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)
Familiarity with SAP
