We currently have an Analyst opening in our Marketing Planning team. The Marketing Planning team is responsible for leading development of American's global marketing strategy and associated marketing plans, and for driving greater alignment between marketing strategy and execution, through close inter-departmental collaboration and coordination. We are looking for an individual who can:
Take initiative, be a self-starter and work both well independently and in team environments
Collaborate cross-functionally to develop, implement and support marketing strategy, encompassing customer behavior, campaign analysis and predictive modeling
Develop integrated marketing plans that leverage multiple marketing channels, platforms and marketing tactics including but not limited to promotions, sponsorships, events and targeted offers
Evaluate market trends, competitive dynamics, and product/service opportunities and provide formal reports and recommendations to management
Develop key performance metrics relative to company and business objectives, while also actively monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
Coordinate and develop communication strategies, offers and messaging
Here is what it takes to be a successful Marketer at American Airlines:
- Ability to understand and present complex market and consumer data in a logical, clear and actionable manner
- Ability to understand customer experience and lifecycle with the brand
- Able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Ability to influencing senior leaders & engaging them in constructive discussion
- A minimum of a BA/BS required
- MBA a plus for select positions
