Atkins seeks an energetic, highly motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter to join our San Diego, Los Angeles, Roseville, San Francisco or Sacramento staff as a Sr. Biologist.
Under direction, provides the expertise of a seasoned scientist to all conventional aspects of functional area and applies advanced concepts and techniques to unconventional problems. May function as individual researcher or technical specialist. Carries out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.
Work involves scientific evaluation and solution of considerably complex problems or scientific support to complex projects. Work also requires the use of advanced techniques and the modification and extension of theories, precepts and practices.
Candidate must be residing in CA and have at least 8 years experience as a Biologist with CA consulting experience.
San Diego office preferred, but candidate can work from our following offices: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Roseville or Sacramento.

B.S./B.A. degree from accredited college/university in biology, zoology, botany, ecology, fisheries, environmental science, wildlife management, environmental engineering or related field required. Minimum 8 years of professional experience as a biologist or relevant technical discipline required, preferably in Southern California or California in general.
Professional certification/registration may be required, depending on discipline.
