Responsibilities

The Business Analyst will function as a liaison between business stakeholders and software development teams in an agile marketing technologies’ environment, supporting both front-end and back-end technologies. This position will require strong organization, analysis and communication skills and may include some project management and quality assurance responsibilities for small work efforts.

Specific Responsibilities:
Working closely with business stakeholders to understand their current-state business/systems processes and their future-state business needs and system requirements.

Translating, communicating and/or documenting business needs and requirements in ways that ensure the business stakeholders and development team are always in alignment in regards to objectives and priorities.

Performing on-going, “just in time” and “just enough” analysis and documenting that analysis as business/systems process diagrams, wireframes and/or storyboards to ensure the development team is able to continuously make progress.

Working closely with quality assurance representatives and software developers to help create test cases used during development, unit testing and validation testing.

Performing demonstrations of working software to key business stakeholders to ensure end products meet their needs.

Troubleshooting and triaging issues reported by end users. Assessing priority and root cause; working with developers and the business for resolution and work-arounds as needed.

Planning, organizing and communicating out launch activities for production code migrations.

Work with business owners to create training documentation upon new product delivery.

Qualifications

2+ years in a business analyst or business systems analyst role.

Must have exceptional business and systems analysis and problem-solving skills.

Must have ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical designs, in addition to user stories.

Must have strong communication skills (written/verbal), preferably with experience using online meeting tools.

Must have ability to facilitate communications between stakeholders from all levels of the organization and to objectively identify and resolve conflicts.

Must be capable and comfortable multi-tasking between concurrent projects and tasks.

Must be able to adjust easily to changing priorities.

Experience working in a highly-integrated systems environment.

Experience in sales and marketing desired.

Experience with agile methodologies desired.

Experience with SaaS and/or .NET platforms desired.
