The Senior Business Analyst fosters the creation and support of web-centric solutions while working within or overseeing the work of one or more agile teams. The Senior Business Analyst’s responsibilities involve supporting business clients, managing project timelines and product backlogs (feature requests & bugs), and providing developers with needed business specifications.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6 years of business experience in requirements gathering, analysis, written definition of specifications, functional validations, and application of software management practices
  • 4 years of business analysis experience in a high-volume, web-enabled environment with customer-facing websites that utilizes common software development life cycle practices
  • 4 years of work experience in a cross-functional team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline with an information technology focus or equivalent work experience.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
  • General knowledge of product management concepts, and how web software products are developed and implemented.
  • Real estate domain knowledge desired but not required.
  • Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communications
  • Ability to work well individually with minimal supervision and also in team setting
  • Ability to move easily between multiple projects at any given time
  • Ability to solve problems creatively in a team environment
  • Group facilitation skills; ability to evoke thought provoking questions during requirements gathering and definition workshops
  • Organizational skills to work with the vast array of information gathered during requirement workshops and analysis, and to cope with rapidly changing information
  • Experience triaging production trouble tickets
  • Experience with data-driven applications, and external data inputs (“data feeds”).
  • Experience in Agile environments preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio, Microsoft .NET, Microsoft
    SQL Server desired.
