This is a full time opportunity, Mon-Fri (occasional Saturdays) 8am to 5pm. Provide assessment, diagnosis, individual and group therapy to residential chemically dependent patients. As a member of the multidisciplinary team provide input for assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and delivery of services. Provide ongoing supervision for doctoral students as requested.
Doctorate in field of mental health required; current Oregon license as a psychologist; knowledge of Twelve Step chemical treatment approaches, and expertise in brief therapy modalities. Must be skilled in the administration and interpretation of psychological tests including assessments for personality, cognition, anxiety, depression, trauma and various compulsive disorders. Must be skilled in conducting individual and group therapy and have experience with co-occurring disorders. This Clinician must adhere to the disease concept of addiction and abstinent-based Twelve Step recovery model. Prior experience leading groups for individuals with addiction and trauma is highly desirable.
