      Position Title: Sr. Compliance Analyst

      KBR is seeking a Sr. Compliance Analyst for our Houston office. This position will be under the direction of the Procurement Resolution Team (PRT). The PRT’s goal is to protect KBR’s interests in its US Government (USG) contracts by mitigating risk and resolving assertions brought forth by USG agency audit(s).

      The Procurement Resolution Team’s Mission:
      Provides analytical support for moderately complex financial systems and operational audits
      Mitigates financial risk to KBR by conducting analysis of potential risk inherent with subcontractor relationships
      Provides Procurement support in response to inquiries from Federal Government agencies, including the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and other USG agencies
      Assists in the negotiation of cost deemed unallowable with DCAA & DCMA
      Specialized staff with experience in Subcontracts Administration, Compliance, Audit, Project Management, Finance & Accounting and Vendor Claims Resolution
      Provides KBR Legal with a Litigation Support Research & Response Team, helping to minimize outside legal costs

      Job Duties:
      Develops responses to DCAA Audit Reports
      Identification of potential Audit exposure
      Analysis and Preparation for USG Hearings
      Research and analysis for Media Inquiries
      Provides procurement litigation support for all appeals/complaints tied to questioned subcontractor cost (discovery, interrogatories, request for production, witness support)
      Research, analysis, and position development for negotiations with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) related to DCAA questioned cost
      Research, analysis and position development for certified claims to the USG under the Contract Disputes Act

      Position requires completion of an undergraduate degree and two to four years of relevant experience.
      Experience in subcontracts administration on Federal government projects or prior audit experience conducting audits of procurement functions for Federal government projects is a plus, and/or experience working in a procurement compliance function, or any combination thereof
      Strong Price/Cost analysis skills
      Strong attention to detail
      Job position requires exceptional analytical, verbal and written communications skills
      Knowledge of FAR/DFAR, and proficiency in application of FAR/DFAR to defend company against Federal government agency audits is a plus
      Must be a self starter, with the ability to understand complex situations quickly and develop and implement action plans timely, with minimal supervision
      Proficient in the use of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint), advanced proficiency in the use of Excel and Access is a plus
