Job Description
Consumer and Community Banking Compliance

Consumer and Community Banking Compliance plays a critical role in the successful execution of the firm's compliance mission. The Compliance function ensures the development and maintenance of a strong compliance culture by developing and maintaining a program infrastructure that identifies, measures, and monitors compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and rules that govern our business. Compliance teams work closely with business, legal, risk, and audit functions to provide expertise on regulatory compliance matters, assess and measure compliance and related risks, and monitor and test the adequacy of the firm's compliance control environment.

The role of our Compliance organization is to support the company in maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and compliance with both the spirit and intent of the many laws, rules, and regulations that govern Chase Consumer and Community Banking (CCB).

CCB Compliance Training is responsible for the design and governance of common standards and practices to be used across the Compliance Training function within the CCB businesses. Additionally, CCB Compliance Training focuses on the continued development of talent to maintain a best-in-class compliance organization.

Position Description

The Senior Compliance Officer will provide support for project planning, execution, tracking, communications and reporting for multiple training projects aligned with CCB Compliance initiatives. The Senior Compliance Officer will have experience producing high-quality reports and will be able to demonstrate strong follow-up skills. The Senior Compliance Officer is expected to demonstrate flexibility, versatility, and an ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities with guidance from the immediate manager.

Responsibilities

Participate in the design and development of the Compliance Training reporting framework
·
Collaborate with each line of business reporting contact to stay abreast of compliance specific training needs
·
Implementation of monthly reporting across CCB Compliance
·
Work with the CCB Compliance and line of business training teams to perform Compliance training needs, assist in the development and coordination of Compliance Training
·
Manage the execution of assigned compliance projects
·
Participate in compliance projects, as needed, to understand risk and scope of new compliance initiatives, regulatory changes, etc. and determine training needs resulting from these projects
·
Organize and develop training materials and supporting documents

Qualifications

Compliance, risk, or audit experience and project management skills preferred
·
Clear communication skills orally and in writing
·
Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate a sense of urgency
·
Ability to present complex information in a succinct and clear manner for management
·
Proven skills in using Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Access, Project
·
Ability to extract data from systems and present clear information
·
Strong analytical, personal computer, and problem-solving skills required
·
LMS knowledge a plus
