The Sr. Consultant Relationship Specialist is a key member of a client service team within Private Client Services (PCS), responsible for anticipating, executing and leading Investment Counselor support activities from prospecting/marketing to client management. The Sr. Consultant Relationship Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional service to a designated group of third party platform (TPP) clients and consultants, and serves as a point person and subject matter expert for all PCS associates.
Coordination of account maintenance/operational activity and ad-hoc and recurring monthly/quarterly reporting
Responding directly to IC, client, and prospect inquiries
Responding to RFIs/RFPs/due diligence questionnaires
Assisting Consultant ICs with meeting preparation and follow-up
Working closely with their Consultant IC on new business development opportunities and planning
Providing leadership to less experienced team members, identifying process improvements, and leading related projects
Sr. Consultant Relationship Specialists are required to liaise and work effectively with various internal groups and manage and prioritize multiple priorities and deadlines Hiring Criteria
Experience in the financial or investment management industry and proven client servicing abilities
A good working knowledge and understanding of capital markets
In-depth knowledge of financial industry, investment recommendations and strategies, fiduciary practices, and the investment advisory and wealth planning business.
Excellent communication skills including strong written, verbal and listening skills
Strong initiative, teamwork and organizational skills are essential with the ability to prioritize multiple requests from a variety of sources
Analytical skills and strong technical skills along with attention to detail
The ability to forge relationships with others inside and outside Capital Group that are based on mutual respect, loyalty and trust
