CollabNet Senior Consultant Enterprise Solutions
This role is based in the United States and will be primarily responsible for delivering post-sales consulting and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) solutions. This role also provides consulting to the CollabNet Sales Executives and Sales Engineers who are focused on the company's Agile Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) products and services.
The candidate will have a strong background in all aspects of Software development having led in an agile environment. Experience in leading teams and business through the transition from a traditional waterfall approach to an agile approach (Scrum, XP, Kanban, Lean) is a must.
The candidate should be a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present to both technical and executive audiences.
Travel > 50% is required.
Reports to the North America Vice-President of Global Services.
Enterprise Agile Transformation: Solution design and service delivery. Guiding organizations on the journey from traditional software development approaches to an Agile / DevOps centric solution set – people, process, tools.
Solution design and service delivery of CollabNet TeamForge and custom Continuous Integration / Delivery / Deployment pipelines and solutions.
Generate Scope of Work (SOW) and support pre-sales in generating response to Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
Manage the Services relationship with the client and the CollabNet sales team, from the initial engagement through SOW delivery and into a long-term relationship.
Design and develop repeatable engagement models and collateral for post-sales service delivery.
Evangelist for CollabNet products and services (white papers, blogs)
Must live in the United States and have a strong experience working with IT managers/directors, development managers/directors, IT business executives.
Strong development / build / test background. Proven experience in having participated in large waterfall and agile programs. Experience of Enterprise architecture or transformation / modernization projects.
A proven track record with a minimum of 3 years experience in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) or Software Configuration Management (SCM) software.
Strong knowledge of industry standard (proprietary and Open Source) Continuous Integration (CI) and Application Release Automation (ARA) tools.
Strong team background: ability to work with inside sales, field engineering and field consulting.
Ability to work with both the business and technical client contacts.
Ability to understand customer’s expressed needs and transform into actionable user stories that meets the customer’s business objectives.
Exceptional oral/written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical solutions to an Executive audience.
Ability to generate detailed value driven business proposals with clearly articulated success criteria.
Deliver insight that reframes the way customers think about their business and their needs.
Ability to offer the customer unique perspectives
Has strong two-way communication skills
Ability to identify the individual customer’s value drivers
Ability to identify economic drivers of the customer’s business
Ability to drive the customer and control the successful delivery of Services.
Industry knowledge of Agile, Scrum, ALM and SCM software development market.
Travel as necessary to call on customer accounts, work with expanding partner network and work at trade shows.
