Dynamic ResearchCorporation is seeking an experienced scientist to provide subject matterexpertise in support of Corrosion Prevention Protection. The successfulcandidate will have proven research and development (R&D) experience inrelevant domains relevant to the development of advanced technologiesapplicable to the corrosion, material science, and coating. The candidate willbe responsible for managing and leading all tasks related to CorrosionResearch, Development, and Technology Implementation and Outreach Initiatives.
Highly knowledgeablescientist with over 10 years of research experience specializing in corrosioncontrol and prevention.
Certifications fromNational Associated of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) or other similar organizationis desired, but not required.
Familiar with an array of laboratory andanalytical equipment consistent with fundamental and applied corrosion research.
Required expertise inone or more of the following areas: corrosion, coatings, materials selectionand design, and/or cathodic protection.
Active Secret clearanceis required
Conducting failureanalysis investigations of materials, metallurgical investigations of jetengines and landing gears, pipelines, train rails, PVC pipes, human implants,transmission towers, computer components, or other related area.
Managing and performinganalyses and characterization of coating systems (metallic, organic, ceramic)
Conducting surveys,troubleshooting design, repair and installation of new or rehabilitation ofexisting corrosion prevention systems
Participation in fieldcorrosivity evaluations such as natural gas transmission and distributionpipelines, potable water, firewater, feed-water and waste-water lines, andburied structural steel assets.
Root cause analysis ofcorrosion prevention failures
Corrosion preventionmaterial testing
