Responsibilities:
The Data Center Floor Manager is responsible for the configuration of the raised floor. These duties include planning the physical layout of new equipment in accordance with the Denver Facilities standards. Using Aperture, a Graphical Management Information tool, develop floor plans and equipment placement diagrams and deliver them to DECC-Mechanicsburg Management and Denver Facilities for approval. Perform Project Management support for most projects that affect the raised floor portion of the Data Center, attend implementation and planning meetings and provide
facility and installation requirements and recommendations. Meet with Customers and Vendors on a regular basis to discuss implementation strategies and timelines. Develop, document and execute all power requirements (installations/move de-installs). A comprehensive portion of the responsibilities is to create, document,
maintain and enforce the DECC-Mechanicsburg Data Center standards. Provide equipment and power information to the configuration management team to have the Configuration Management data bases updated. Assist with the decommissioning of equipment.

Occasional after hours and weekend will be required.

Tools used:
Aperture/VISTA - Graphical Management Information tool
Asset Data Management - DISA's current Configuration Management Database
Change Control (2) providing facility and installation requirements and recommendations; (3) implementing DISA Security protocols, as necessary; (4) performing project management of data center projects; (5) implementing data center upgrades, enhancements, and decommissioning of equipment; (6) interfacing with the various customers; other DISA personnel, teams and DISA Managers to successfully accomplish the tasks.

The candidate needs high level problem solving skills and very good communication skills. The candidate will interface with and must be able to communicate with everyone from top DECC management to cable technicians.

Knowledge of National and DoD policies and procedures and knowledge of a wide range of principles, concepts and methodologies involving Informational System Security and COMSEC programs to allow development of Information Assurance policies and procedures. Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Aperture/VISTA. Candidate must be proficient with Problem/Incident Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management. Having ITIL Foundations v3 certification is a plus. Preference is given to a candidate with previous experience in a DoD Government customer environment.

Clearance Required
Secret IT-1; requires a minimum interim Secret IT-1 security clearance eligibility when performance starts.

Minimum Education, Certifications, Training and Experience
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience, with minimum 6 years of experience in data center management. ITIL Foundations v3 certification is a plus.
