Dachis Group is looking for an experienced, talented and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our SBI Operations Team.
We are looking for someone who is highly interested in working on the latest Cloud, Big Data, and Agile technologies and Continuous Delivery processes.
As a senior member of the SBI Operations Team, you will be responsible for helping expand and efficiently maintain a large, distributed cloud infrastructure. In addition, you will be administrating and building an ever-evolving suite of tools and automation processes vital to the company’s product development and operations in the cloud.
Finally, you will be working on the daily operations of our applications and Big Data Clusters, which drive our extensive Social Media Analytics platform, and represents a tremendous opportunity to augment or gain vital experience! (Don’t worry if you do not know anything about Big Data, we will teach you!)
The best candidates should be able to quickly troubleshoot complex issues with minimal support, be able to properly communicate and work with multiple teams, and most importantly know how to have fun while solving challenges with outside the box thinking.
- Significant AWS Experience (Especially EC2, S3, RDS, Route 53)
- Experience with Jenkins or CI Tools
- Operations Experience with Database Systems (MySQL, Postgres)
- Experience with VCS or DVCS (preference given to Mercurial)
- Significant Linux and Operations Experience (5+ years)
- Experience with Automation Tools (Chef preferred)
- Experience in Scripting or Code Development
- Experience with JIRA/Crucible/Confluence/Crowd
- Experience with Monitoring Tools
- Experience or Knowledge of Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Cassandra, Storm, etc.)
