Glassdoor, the world’s largest career community and leading job search destination, is looking for an experienced Director of Client Services to build a growing team to our #1 selling PPC job search product.
In this role you will build and lead a client services team that helps more than a thousand employers across multiple verticals advertise their open jobs to our community. Core responsibilities include campaign strategy definition, data analysis, campaign optimization, and managing client relationships.
This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of client services at Glassdoor, and as such will require a true player/coach. You need to have the hands on search marketing experience and understanding of SEM to establish new processes, tools, etc. to get our team moving in the right direction, but you’ll also need the management experience and leadership potential to oversee one of the fastest growing teams in the company.

Own campaign success, partnership success, and advertiser satisfaction
Lead the relationship with employer/advertiser contact, proactively set cadence and depth of interaction and ensure follow up, manage expectations and requests, escalate any issues
Monitor and analyze performance reports to measure campaign performance based on strategic recommendations made during sales process
Develop and deliver client sales presentations focused on optimizing existing paid search relationships and securing new ones
Identify and establish campaign management processes, and work with product management to close any process or product gaps
Manage and prioritize team's work, allocate SEM Analysts and Associates to specific tasks for implementation
Mentor and develop a team of SEM specialists by setting clear goals/objectives, providing hands-on training and support, and offering regular feedback on performance
Serve as the organizational expert on search and performance based job advertising industry and train the team on the trends and any resulting process changes
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
5+ years of paid search marketing experience (with at least 2 years at a SEM agency preferred)
Familiarity with search marketing tools like Google AdWords, Bing/Yahoo! Ad Center, Facebook Ads (with prior experience influencing development of search engine marketing technologies preferred)
Proven ability to lead and manage a growing client service teams
Experience managing and selling paid search to large national brands, and developing and delivering presentations to upper management
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an interest in working with cross-functional teams
Confidence to interact with team members across all departments and levels of the organization
Exceptional Excel skills, proficiency with Powerpoint and Word
Self-motivated with a passion for learning and fast-paced, results-driven work environments
This position reports to the SVP of Sales and is based in Sausalito, CA (minutes from San Francisco, just over the Golden Gate Bridge). Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience, including equity in an early stage startup backed by top-tier VCs.
