Crestron is looking for a talented individual to fill the position of Sr. Director, Supply Chain at our corporate campus in Rockleigh, NJ (07647). With over 3000 SKU’s, this individual will be ultimately responsible for the appropriate levels of inventory to support a growing, global business.

Responsibilities :

· Serve as a Change Agent to transform the current Purchasing and Planning team into a world class Supply Chain Management organization.

· Oversee all aspects of procurement activities for Crestron Electronics.

o Direct the current team of Sr. Managers

o Contract negotiation and administration with Raw Material, Semi-Finished Good and Finished Good suppliers.

o Manage the flow of materials including consignment programs, buffer stock, in-stores consignment inventory, Kanban, etc. required to support customer lead-time expectations.

· Management of existing Contract Manufacturers

o Forecasting and production schedules

o Logistics of raw materials and finished goods (consignment of raw materials, inventory control and reconciliation)

o Administration of contracts

· Development and management of NEW contract manufacturers

· Development and management of NEW supply chain processes to Crestron

o Demand Planning

o Supply Planning

o Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)

o Forecasting techniques

· Calculate appropriate safety stock qtys based upon;

o Volatility of demand

o Lead-times of materials

o Service levels

o Test and processing capacity

· Develop and maintain relationships with;

o Sales teams

o Business Planning and Reporting Managers

o Technology Managers

· Manage the successful phase in and phase out of products, minimizing stranded materials, and meeting new product introduction dates.

Experience :

Must have a proven track record managing the supply chain of a $750m+, electronic manufacturing enterprise. The candidate must show that he/she is capable of managing a dynamic business, and has successfully scaled an operation to handle growth and shrinkage. Must have managed large teams in excess of 100 people, and has been able to grow the teams capabilities through training and recruiting. Shall also be familiar with the key players in the electronics industry.

· Raw Material Suppliers

· Contract Manufactures

· OEM Manufactures

Must possess a minimum of a BS in Manufacturing Engineering or Supply Chain Management. SCM Certificate a plus. Familiarity with high end electronic manufacturing also a plus. Must have 10 to 15 years experience in the field of OEM manufacturing or contract manufacturing supply chain management.
