Successful candidate will provide overall program support to a NAVAIR Program Office, including preparation of briefing slides, reports and correspondence. Coordinate and attend meetings. Draft and distribute meeting minutes. Perform research, conduct analysis and recommend alternatives/solutions in response to action items, data calls and issues. Provide program support to in response to Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Pricing and Availability (P&A) data Requests and Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) Requests. Maintain case files for the FMS programs, filings and other program support. Successful candidate will interface with system or program contractors, vendors, and Government representatives regarding the technical aspects of engineering programs/projects. The ideal candidate should possess a working knowledge with the Security Assistance (SA) policies and procedures to perform tasks in new business development Pre-Letter of Request (LOR) activities, case execution and full life cycle management of FMS cases.
A bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited through a U.S. Department of Education approved agency is required. Four (4) years of experience in addition to the requirements below may be considered in lieu of degree.
A minimum of six (6) years of related DoD acquisition experience is required.
Experience providing program analysis support to a NAVAIR FMS case as well as experience providing logistics support is highly desired.
Occasional travel to prime/sub contractor and government facilities.
An active SECRET clearance is required. Applicant selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
