Purpose: Monitors and

Duties and Responsibilities:

correct setup in Costpoint for proper billing and revenue. Coordinates
Project baselining tasks, as well as periodic revisions of the Estimates
at Completion. Conducts studies
and submit recommendations for improving the organization’s accounting and
finance operations. Serves as a
consultant to implement accounting/finance functions during phase-in of a
new contract. Researches
questionable or unsupported items prior to invoice submittal or revenue
recognition. Performs and
supervises program budgeting functions on an annual basis and updates
operating forecasts monthly or as needed. Responds to
questions and/or issues from operations personnel. Supervises External/Internal
& DCAA/DCMA audit requests. Assists with
special projects as needed. Participates in
developing and updating departmental policies and procedures .
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
of accounting that includes spreadsheets and relational data bases program for

degree in an associated field. Two (2) years
experience in accounting may be substituted for each year of the four (4)
years of college.
(6) years experience in general accounting. Prefer at least
two (2) years in government contract accounting experience.

accounting/finance field. Must
have high level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, including Word,
Excel and other related applications. Experience with
the Costpoint accounting system, with emphasis on billing, revenue and
project structure. Experience with
Deltek Cobra, Open Plan, and wInsight highly desired Must
be able to handle confidential company and employee information with
