About the Finance Team
Tagged is looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst to join the Finance team. The Accounting team consists of four full time accountants & consultants, who cover all areas of accounting including general ledger, revenue, A/R, A/P and payroll. This team has a great synergy and is well cross-trained. We also strive to implement the latest technologies to promote an automated, efficient and, when possible, paperless office.
Tracks financial status by monitoring variances from plan.
Provides financial modeling (e.g. regression analyses, correlation analysis, time series analysis, etc.) to lead the budgeting and forecasting process.
Determines financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results.
Improves financial status by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions.
Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
Increases productivity by developing automated applications; eliminating duplications; coordinating information requirements.
Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
Identify and implement process improvements related to financial reporting and perform special projects and ad-hoc reporting as new accounting and business requirements arise.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
You have a minimum of 5 years of Finance experience with a degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
You have superior attention to detail and can work with minimal supervision.
You practice professional skepticism and analytical thinking.
You are able to meet tight deadlines and you are confident in a fast-paced environment with demanding workload.
You have the ability to hold important information in confidence.
You have excellent organizational skills.
You are extremely proficient in Adaptive Planning and NetSuite or similar ERP system and Microsoft Excel.
You have strong interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills.
Nice to haves
You have, preferably, obtained or are planning to obtain professional certifications/charters such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Financial Manager (CFM), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
