Position: Sr. Financial Specialist
Mission / Summary
In the role of Sr. Financial Specialist, you will be providing the financial leadership to our business decision making team, with the aim of maximizing long-term value, cash flows and shareholder return at the consumer packaging division (CPD). This position will help provide accurate and timely financial reporting to ensure we meet our business objectives. In addition, this position will offer the opportunity to work with cross functional teams to analyze data, provide management with a fair assessment of key projects, including how we can optimize projects in a way that helps to generate superior business results for the company. Support continuous improvement activities to achieve world class financial reporting standards.
Analytical support for all activities and processes of the CPD FP&A group. Key processes include monthly close, monthly financial forecasts, annual operating plans and three-year strategic plans. Responsibilities also include: analysis and evaluation of the Company's monthly operating results, long-range strategic plan presentations, annual budgets, monthly production and financial forecasts, and weekly results reporting. Provide analytical support for cross functional projects including but not limited to customer profitability analysis and pricing etc.
Position Responsibilities include but limited to the following.
Analysis of business unit results: P&L and Balance Sheet including variance analysis.
Support monthly close and forecasting process
Ad hoc financial analysis of financial and operating metrics to support business requirement
Support the development and analysis of the Strategic Business Development (SBD) plan
Support the development and analysis of the annual operating plan
Consolidate the financial results for the operating plan
Analysis of business segment plans and overall Corporate plans
Design new processes to ensure full financial control
Key Strategic projects as needed working with cross functional business teams including pricing/ contract analysis or sales planning analysis
Skills will be developed through the varied experiences you obtain as well as extensive on-the-job and off-the-job training.

Minimum education of a BA or BS with strong academic results.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint. Strong financial modeling skills are preferred.
Good command of the English language is necessary
Proven Leadership ability, strong analytical skills, and excellent collaborative people skills are strongly preferred.
