The Sr. HR Administrative Assistant will provide responsible, complex and confidential administrative support to the Head of Human Resources for North America and the local U.S. HR team, utilizing appropriate discretion, initiative, and independent judgment. Duties will include, but are not limited to, following up on projects, reviewing, researching and routing correspondence, drafting letters and documents, and initiating telecommunications; managing calendars and scheduling meetings, conferences, and travel; and preparing expense reports. The incumbent will prepare presentation materials based on a general outline of information required. The Sr. Assistant will set up and maintain a wide variety of files relating to department activities which will be confidential in nature, and maintain a follow up file on all pending actions. He/she will anticipate the HR Leader’s and team’s needs, and translate requests and indirect requirements into achievable results. The Sr. Assistant will handle unforeseen developments and resolve potential conflicts effectively and professionally. The Sr. Assistant will coordinate and support interview scheduling and travel arrangements of candidates in support of US recruiting efforts. Minimum of 7 years of executive level administrative experience in a corporate environment.
Bachelor’s degree in related field and experience supporting a Human Resources executive/team is preferred.
Demonstrated exceptional oral/written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.
The ideal incumbent will possess a proven track record of integrity, discernment, flexibility, attention to detail, and diplomacy.
Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office products and internet capability are also required.
French language would be a plus though not required.
