The Sr. Hardware Engineer is responsible for electrical product design, development and support. This includes all hardware certification activities, new product introduction into manufacturing, and product support for all hardware related issues in the factory and field.
? Responsible for electrical product design and hardware certification
? Responsible for design documentation and configuration management
? Will be involved in providing technical support for new and existing products to the factory and field
? Engineering experience in electrical Hardware development environment
? Experience with high speed digital and some analog design, including experience with designing high performance processor boards, power supplies, etc.
? PowerPC embedded processor design
? Schematic design (OrCad)
? ICX / Hyperlynx
? High speed busses ? Ethernet, USB, etc.
? Ability to work in diverse, cross-functional teams
? Direct avionics design experience
? Direct experience with FAA certification processes related to avionics product and operational approvals
? Cadence experience
1. PB design (Allegro) is highly desirable (must be able to understand interface to PB tool)
2. ASIC/FPGA design, synthesis and analysis experience is a plus
3. PSpice analog modeling and simulation experience is a plus
? A BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required
